Deniz "Defman" Firat (nascido em 8 de março de 1990, em Bielefeld, Alemanha) é um DJ e Produtor profissional. Sua carreira começou no final de 2010 e desde então tem sido muito bem sucedida. Devido a sua versatilidade musical (R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Reggae, House & Electro), sua capacidade de manter esforços contínuos e trabalho árduo, ele pode rapidamente aumentar suas oportunidades. Assim o jovem artista foi capaz de se apresentar por toda a Alemanha: Düsseldorf (NachtResidenz), Hamburg (Imtech Arena), Aachen (Imagem/Abendrot), Munique (Nível 228), Bielefeld (Elephant Club), Albstadt (Tropi), Hameln (Blondie) e muitos mais! As primeiras apresentações internacionais não demoraram muito para chegar: Em dezembro de 2011 ele tocou no Bozzini/Mixx Club (Kerkrade), muito conhecido nos Países Baixos. Desde maio de 2012 Defman é o DJ residente no evento "Back To The Roots" (Volta às raízes) no "Elephant Club" (Bielefeld, Alemanha). Ele também é DJ residente no "Elefante Club" toda terça-feira. Seus SET's não são apenas famosos na Alemanha, eles também são reproduzidos em todo o mundo, especialmente no Brasil onde são postados semanal no web-site Giro95. Em 2011/12, ele também lançou vários SET's, que foram apresentados pela cantora Romena Ruby e pelo Sul Europeu MC Yankoo. Este é apenas o começo. Dank seiner musikalischen Vielfalt (R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Reggae, House & Electro), viel Mühe und Fleiß öffneten sich für ihn sehr schnell viele Türen. So konnte der noch sehr junge Künstler innerhalb kürzester Zeit deutschlandweit auflegen: In Düsseldorf (NachtResidenz), Hamburg (Imtech Arena), Aachen (Image/Abendrot), München (Level 228), Bielefeld (Elephant Club), Albstadt (Tropi), Hameln (Blondie) und vielen weiteren Städten. Die ersten Internationalen Bookings ließen nicht lange auf sich warten: In Dezember 2011 legte er im weltberühmten Bozzini/Mixx Club in den Niederlanden (Kerkrade) auf. Seit Mai 2012 ist Defman Resident-DJ bei der „Back To The Roots“ Veranstaltung im Elephant Club (Bielefeld). Er ist ebenfalls jeden Dienstag Resident-DJ im Elephant Club. Seine Mixtapes sind nicht nur in Deutschland sehr beliebt, sondern weltweit, vor allem in Brasilien, wo sie beim brasilianischen Radiosender Giro95 wöchentlich abgespielt werden.
